I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Virtual University of Pakistan in 2021. I initially enrolled in the program in 2011, but due to unavoidable circumstances, I was unable to continue. I decided to freeze my semester and later resumed my studies in Fall 2017, successfully completing the program.

Dy. Manager IT

Responsible for managing the IT infrastructure, implementing security policies, and optimizing network and system performance to support the college’s operations.
• Network Optimization: Identified inefficiencies in the existing network and implemented VLANs to improve segmentation, security, and traffic management.
• Security Implementation: Deployed Sophos Firewall to enhance network security, ensuring controlled access and threat mitigation.
• Windows Server 2022 Migration: Set up Active Directory with structured Group Policies to enhance user authentication and resource management.

Provided support and planning for critical requirements including Network Administration, Computer Builds, Software Loads, Product Testing, Telephony, End-User Support & Training, and Vendor Relations.
Critical contributions included:

• Networking: Planned and integrated 04-offices Windows Server 2003 and upgraded to 2008, 2012 and 2016 Domain with over 200 clients. Administered primary and back-up domain controllers, file servers, print servers, proxy server, and e-mail server. Introduced thin client technology through dial-in connection for remote administration.
• Computer Network Security: Implemented policies for employee use of Internet and e-mail. Utilized Fortinet and Sophos Firewalls in 3 sites.
• Training: Conducting the training of employees remotely and locally across multiple departments on network operations including log-in procedures, network management software, and Microsoft Team / Zoom for voice and webcam conferencing. Recommending and implementing network enhancements in efforts to improve system reliability and performance.
• Telephony Administration: Managed and optimized Alcatel OXO PBX system with 150+ extensions, reducing monthly telephony costs by 25% through VoIP integration and streamlined call routing. Implemented IVR (Interactive Voice Response) to enhance customer support efficiency, reducing manual call transfers by 40%.
• Technical Support: Provided technical support and end-user training to users on network, software, and computer systems.
• Vendor Relations: Negotiated all hardware and software purchases for company, successfully saving thousands during new network integration.
